Daniel Mendel-Black @ Modernism, Inc., through Sept. 1

We know that we probably post too much about Daniel Mendel-Black's new paintings, but we think he's on to something.

Particularly entertaining was this recent review of his work shown this month at Modernism, Inc. From ArtBusiness.com, "Daniel Mendel-Black tops his electric plaid abstracts with abrupt unsettling oblong impasto globs, the brown and black versions of which remind me of poo."

We think he probably will like this...
